Kris Kelley's Personal Stuff

Two jobs ago. I need a new picture.
A bit about me: In December of 1997
I graduated from Georgia Tech with a degree in computer science. For about two
years afterward, I worked at home for an internet start-up, with the pipe dream
that I could make a go at self-employment and therefore keep my nocturnal
lifestyle. That didn't happen, so then I worked for another Internet start-up,
Internet Access Technologies, who later became SimDesk Technologies, Inc. That
job lasted for two and a half happy years, but unfortunately they had to
downsize, and I was one of the lucky ones given an extended vacation. After a
few months of unemployment, I had the dubious honor of working on the frontlines
of phone tech support at RackShack, the web-hosting division of Everyone's
Internet. Anybody who has been there will heartily agree with me that phone
support is no fun, and my respect and my condolences go to those who keep at it.
Fortunately for me, I didn't have to stay at that job for very long. Now I work
for H.P., testing linux drivers and programs for H.P. hardware. I certainly
hope this job lasts a while!
Oh, and to the person who emailed me saying he hoped I would find a
kick-@$$ job: Thank you, I think I finally have! Also, sorry for never
responding to your email; I lost a lot of messages due to slippery fingers one
night.
I have dabbled in all sorts of hobbies, but I can safely say that my main hobby
is music, particularly collecting music. I have around 500 music CDs, as well
as collections of MIDIs and MODs that I am always adding to. I also sequence
MIDI music, and once upon a time pretended I was an artist, though I don't
believe I convinced very many people.
