Atari 2600 James Bond 007 Review

James Bond 007 feels a lot like Moon Patrol on Valium, which is not a good idea for a game that's supposed to let you pretend you're a spy with quick reflexes and an even quicker wit. Still, that could be forgiven, maybe, if the game wasn't so artificially hard. Allowing common enemies to shoot at you when you can't shoot back is annoying, and it's even worse when you can't tell when they will fire.

Take this advice: If you want to be James Bond, play GoldenEye. If you want to drive a futuristic vehicle across difficult terrain while shooting at things above and in front of you, play Moon Patrol. Either way, it's safe to skip this one.

Grade: D.
