1980 - Battlezone - Destroy the enemy's tanks before they destroy yours.

1995 - Battlezone 2000 - One of the last official releases for the Atari Lynx features both an updated game and a port of the original, just like Tempest 2000.

1998 - Battlezone - Activision's PC game came out at the same time as many other 3-D updates to classic arcade games, but in this case they pretty much created a whole new game, combining elements of first-person shooters and real-time strategy games along with the more familiar tank simulation.

2008 - Battlezone - This online release for the XBox 360 is similar to Battlezone 2000, in that a sequel with updated game play is bundled together with a more faithful port of the original.
