How to Play James Bond 007

As one of Britain's top secret agents, your goal is to succeed at three different missions. Each mission requires expert control of your top secret vehicle, capable of driving across both land and water as well as high jumps into the air, and equipped with weaponry capable of striking targets both above and below. If you feel you are only just starting to discover your skills as a secret agent, you can try these missions on the "novice" setting. If you are a seasoned spy and international man of mystery, try your luck with the "agent" setting. Perform well enough, and you just might earn the coveted rank of 007.

The first mission is Diamonds Are Forever. Diamonds hover in the sky, placed there by the evil Seraffino. Seraffino has launched helicopters to attack you, and the satellites high above have also been turned against you. You must avoid the fire of both the helicopters and the satellites, while also jumping over wide radioactive pits in the ground. You cannot shoot the helicopters or satellites, but you can shoot the diamonds for extra points. Each diamond briefly lights up the night sky when destroyed.

Eventually you will reach the water, where you must continue avoiding fire from the satellites and helicopters while looking for Seraffino's oil rig. The rig has gone dark, so the only way to see it at night is to light the sky by shooting diamonds. For an added challenge, fire from the helicopers can cause a deadly splash when it hits the water, so avoid those ripples! Frogmen will also rise from below, setting off radioactive depth charges that must also be avoided. Fortunately the frogmen are not invulnerable the way helicopters and satellites are, so you can try taking them out before they create their explosions. Once you have spotted the rig, you must make a perfect leap over the oil derreck and set your craft on the landing pad on the far side. If you see the rig but cannot make the jump, dive down before crashing into the rig, and then keep going until you see the rig again.

The second mission is Moonraker. Hugo Drax has launched a set of spinning satellites that threatens to poison virtually all life on Earth! You must race across the water and take down these satellites as they fly by. Naturally Drax won't just sit by while you're taking shots at his satellites. Space shuttles will launch from the water and then explode in the air, revealing a bomb that then falls back to the water. You can destroy the shuttle during its flight up, but if it explodes, you will be killed instantly by the poison released, unless you have submerged your craft underwater. Assuming you survived the blast, you must then either target the falling bomb before it hits the water, or avoid it when it lands and detonates!

Submarines will also get in your way during the Moonraker mission. You can shoot both them and the torpedos they launch, but don't let either one touch your craft!

The third and final mission is The Spy Who Loved Me. Karl Stromberg has gotten into the business of commandeering nuclear submarines by swallowing them in huge oil tankers. One such submarine held agent Anya Amasova, making this mission a little more personal. Taking again to the water, you must find Stromberg's hidden laboratory and bomb it out of existence. When you do, a capsule will be released, with Amasova inside. Grab the capsule and the mission will be complete. Of course Stromberg will try and stop you, both with rockets that launch from the ocean floor, submarines that sneak up from behind, and helicopters that shoot at you from the sky. The helicopters here cannot be destroyed either, but fortunately the rockets and submarines can.

So can you complete all three missions and become 007 like Bond? Good luck!
