The millipede shares a lot in common with its cousin the centipede. Both march back and forth across the screen, getting closer with each bump against a mushroom or playfield edge. Both start the game fully intact, but gradually shed independent heads with each new level. And both will attack with even more indepedent heads if any part of the centipede or millipede reaches the bottom of the screen!
